Copy all files from subdirectories into a target dir

A friend gave you a Debian installation disc. You don't want to have the disk in your drive all the time. Just use this small oneliner to copy all deb-files.

find dir/ -iname '*.deb' -exec cp '{}' /var/cache/apt/archives/ ';'
